The Nashville Concert Experience

OMG! My daughter, Nia, my Mom and I had an AMAZING night at the Robin Thicke concert! We danced and sang all night long! His band is one of the best in the land! Believe that!!! First off, our seats were on the 2nd row. But the seats in the front row weren’t taken, so you know how I do.

Being Robin Thicke fans, Nia and I got Robin a bear that was wearing his favorite team’s shirt. So Nia gave him the bear after he finished one of his slow songs.

Robin took it then said “Wow, my favorite team!” he asked for Nia’s name and he couldn’t really hear her so he asked me. He kissed her hand and then he said, “I’m dedicating this song to Nia” and he started to sing “Lost without you”. Nia was blushing so hard. She washed her hand around the kiss mark from Robin. LOL! When the set was over and they were taking the finale bows, LB the drummer gave Nia and me his drumsticks! LB is so cool and I’m so happy he remembered me from Chicago and when he was here with the RT/Beyonce tour. WHAT A NIGHT!

I didn’t take any pictures, but I have the drumstick that LB signed. I will post that picture soon. My child and I are still on cloud nine :-)

Sorry I haven't been on here in a nice little minute, but I wanted to share my experience with fellow fans that I don't already have saved as friends on facebook and myspace.

so funny... at the beyonce concert i went to (LA staples center)... me and my daughter each made a poster too... mine said "RT everyday til it's beautiful" and my daughter's said "robin's chocolate lover" (with an arrow pointing at herself). we wanted robin to know we were there for him... but security wouldn't let us take them in. i was so sad about that! we were wearing our shirts that say

Yep, I sure did make the poster. I have the picture posted on my profile page :-) I remember I took some heat about making a poster...but me and my daughter had a blast!

woo hoo!!!! go lanae go!!!! what an AWESOME experience!!!! robin dedicating LWU to nia... wow... that is soooooo wonderful!! i can only imagine the excitement! that is truly a night to keep close to your hearts!! i'm sooo happy for you both.. and your mom too!! how beautiful is that.. 3 women, 3 generations... that is soooo HOT!!! robin is so special.. he touches us ALL!! I LOVE U ROBIN!!

WOW!! thanks so much for the post, LanaeB. I'm relatively new the the forum, so I get so excited when I hear experiences like yours. I've only discovered Robin last year but I am in awe of his talent and openness with his fans. Looks like I'm finally getting my chance to see him perform him in June. Hope my experience will be as awesome as yours :)
